What is a Listening Map?

It’s an interactive, visual representation of musical sounds and concepts, designed to help children recognize and identify elements of music.

Listening maps empower students to sing, play, and explore as they listen to and interact with new styles and forms of music.

I worked with illustrator, Darrin Pepe to create a series of interactive, animated K–8 maps for McGraw Hill Education’s Music Studio digital music platform.
