How does a company become Agile?
I collaborated with The Bliss Group and their client, MSD Japan (Merck’s brand outside of the U.S. and Canada) in MSD’s transformation into an Agile organization.
By capitalizing on their renown scientific heritage and the Japanese origins of Agile methodology, MSD sought to empower their employees to adapt new ways of working in pursuit of innovation in product development and delivery.
I helped the company introduce Agile to their employees so they could achieve their twin goals of organizational and personal transformation:
- Remain at the forefront of science and healthcare
- Retrain their workforce for the future
Presentation
For the company-wide launch meeting, I was tasked with creating various presentation decks to:
- introduce Agile and it’s Japanese origins
- provide a detailed look at how Agile would be incorporated at an organizational level
- inform and (hopefully) positively influence the employees towards embracing change
